Auto pilot

If I have two ships like at the begining of the game and I put one in autopilot, select where I want it to go then press turn until it gets there. If I press turn one more time the other ship seems to be selected and if I set a new autopilot target, the othe ship moves to it as I press turn rather than the one I originally put in autopilot. Is this how it is supposed to work.

Also if I play the game for a while (guess is > 100 turns) just as it starts to get interesting the game just goes away after the press of the turn button.

Do you have SmartException installed? If not, please get it from this link and install it.

http://www.stardock.com/temp/sx-odinst.exe

To send me the SmartException report when it pops up, Click on Open Log Directory (or something like that) and the file you want is GalCiv.exe.CRA. You can either drag it into a e-mail that's already open or right click on it and choose send to mail receipient.

Also, if you send me your SavedGames directory along with the SmartException report, that would be helpful.

As for the ships on auto-pilot, are you asking if it should switch to the next ship after your first ship has finished the first leg of its journey?

Got the SmartException and will try to see what I can capture for you.

As for the auto-pilot, I only had auto-pilot turned on for one ship yet when it got to its destination it seems that auto-pilot turned on for the other ship as it started for the same destination.
