GalCiv Writer

Where do I get this from? I looked in the Library, but can't seem to find it.

Though you would think the library would have some information on it. Who's in charge of the library around here? Would it be possible to include the Writer, or at least a link to it?

edit: Looking more closely at the website it looks like the only version available is labeled "alpha." Since that label is usually reserved for programs that are so buggy that they aren't even ready for the public to see, I thought I would include a link to the old version: http://www.ctuit.com/bill/galciv.htm . Note that this version is from before the seperate "Mods" folder was added to GalCiv, so it expects everything to be mixed in with GalCiv's standard data files.

NeoTech has all of those files.. In fact we have about every known file made for Galciv aside from maybe like 20-30 files that were on Galciv.org.. not sure if they are still since it crashed.

The Alpha version works fine btw.. No worries.. ;)

Cool - I just got it from Neotech, heh. I wanna make a Political Party that doesn't have such Huge Negatives to my Ships. I can live without some bonuses, but sometimes I just wanna attack! Heck, even -50% would be better :notsure:

Well, do as you want. But don't forget than the AI can choose it.

I downloaded the new version of GalCiv Writer. I wanted to see what I could create, as it relates to Political Parties.

It seems after installing and then clicking on the desktop icon, I get an error message. I've no ideas of what is going on.

The error message reads: GalCivWriter.ex - Application Error
The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application.

Any ideas of what I'm missing. I'm playing with the latest version of GalCiv with Altairan Prophecy.

You need to have free Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 installed to use newest version of GalCivWriter.

It can be downloaded at:
