A little beginner help needed

Hi there

I have a few questions I hope you can help with:

1. Is it possible to lower the speed for AI actions? Between my turns the AI ships are just moving way to fast for me to follow it. If they are in a battle I can't see who wins because it goes to fast. It's a bit annoying :notsure:

2. Is there some way to improve the range of my colony ships in the beginning of the game (not by research or special abilities)
I started in a very deserted area, and had to build a colony on a PQ 7 just to get a chance to move further out in the universe. Could I have done anything else?

Alliance victory is the fastest and the only way to get the doubled points by a win in 2190. Thus there are so many submitting alliance wins.

By the way I hate the 60k border. It's o.k. to limit the additional points from long games. But it should be more flexible.

In my oppinion the score should reflect the starting possition, and the overall dificulty of the game. So if you for instance defeat an oponent using significantly less ships and troops than he does, you get higher score than by applying overwhelming forces. How this can be calculated, specially for non military wins, I don't know.

And the number of turns used to acieve a victory should be factored in so that the optimum was a fast but not emediate win. Again I don't know how.

But I do agree that the 60k cap is not optimal (to say the least). As it is now it's all about getting 60k, and anything over that is a waste, so why bother.
