Expansion with Multi?

I aim this question to the dev´s.

Would it be possible to make an expansion with multiplayer support somewhere in the near future?

No. Stardock has been pretty clear on this. GalCiv is a single player game. The focus has been and continues to be on making excellent AIs for the game. I think Brad even has an article about it under the encyclopedia section of the GalCiv website.

I think they would have to change too much to make it multiplayer. It would really kill the game.

But the Devs have already said Never, in fact I believe Frogboy said if anything, multi would be in a GalCiv2. :notsure:
