Missing Political Parties

Just a quick question. In the manual it shows 9 political parties to chose from when starting a new game, however, I only get six to chose from in my game. Is this because they haven't been added to the download updates yet, or is it because I have a problem? Thanks for the replies :)

No problem, they were ditched for whatever reason... but the manual wasn't or couldn't be changed before printing. With everything else that's been promised I don't see why new political factions couldn't be added, although I think the current mix covers things pretty well as is.

I wish you could edit the names though.
Pacifist is by far my favorite combination of advantages (and I think the best over all utility faction)...but it needs to be called something cooler, like Industrialists.
