ok the 1 squares are called what? the groups of bigger squares on the mini map are called what. differnt pplz on this site call them differnt things whats the offical.

The small squares are called parsecs (or tiles). The larger squares are called sectors. Sectors are 8 parsecs x 8 parsecs. I like to think of sectors as mini-chess boards. LOL
