Will the be more in-game help/info in a future update?

I haven't heard anything from Brad or the devs about this. Is this something that may/is being planned for a future update? It is the only interface limitation I find with the game (which is otherwise very streamlined and easy to use).
In the research screen when you select a tech to research - it will tell what future tech you can research and what military/social projects and starbase modules you can build - but no indication as to what they do.
I would like to be able to right-click on these and see more info. Same with the diplomacy screen when trading tech.
