Was this a good trade? (Huge deal want to see if i made a mistake or not)

I traded instant communiation, 2 trade goods, mega phasers, and interglatac diplomacy (i think i forgot the name its the one before extravaganza) for about 10-15 technologies that i did not have.
I know i incread the diplomacy of the other civ so i wont be able to swindle it horribly till i get majesty but i got 10-15 other technologies. I opend up about 8 more builings choices for each planet inclduing a one per game only prodcut (that i got) and a 1 per civ manufacturing ceneter, and another upgrade to the regular manufacturing ceneter.
Im not sure if i made a mistake by making the other race too powerful diplomatically but even so im still a step ahead of the because i have accquried extravaganze. I dont know it seemed like a good deal at the time because it was so many techs.
