Help me!!!

I dont know how where to download stuff to. I have an xplosiv version of galciv. + the gold edition if it makes a difference.

If you are talking about the mods here on Galciv then try this >

 

 Anomalies - (.Anomaly) place the unzipped files in the folowing folder. C:\Program Files\Strategy First\Galactic Civilizations\Mods\Data
 Events - (.event) place the unzipped files in the folowing folder. C:\Program Files\Strategy First\Galactic Civilizations\Mods\Data
 Improvements - (.imp) place the unzipped files in the folowing folder. C:\Program Files\Strategy First\Galactic Civilizations\Mods\Data
 Misc - (.party) place the unzipped files in the folowing folder. C:\Program Files\Strategy First\Galactic Civilizations\Mods\Data
 - (.sbmodule) place the unzipped files in the folowing folder. C:\Program Files\Strategy First\Galactic Civilizations\Mods\Data
 - (.Inv.tactic)  place the unzipped files in the folowing folder. C:\Program Files\Strategy First\Galactic Civilizations\Mods\Data\InvasionTactics
 Ships - (.ship) place the unzipped files in the folowing folder. C:\Program Files\Strategy First\Galactic Civilizations\Mods\Data
 Technologies - (.tech) place the unzipped files in the folowing folder. C:\Program Files\Strategy First\Galactic Civilizations\Mods\Data
 United Planets - (.upissue)  place the unzipped files in the following folder. C:\Program Files\Strategy First\Galactic Civilizations\Mods\Data\UP_Issues

 

You will need to change the political party number to the next consecutive id number from the last one in your files for it to work fully. Use Galciv Writer to aid you in this. If you need any further help then please find me at The Galactic Core

BTW you will need to go into the options screen in the game and enable the mods from there. Next time you start the game they will be there for you.

If you dont have a folder with the name 'mods' and the other folders inside as mentioned above, then just create them in the correct place :)

They should all go as above, The game will combine them again for you depending on what is needed to use them.
