I was wondering what is more important in trade the distance between planets or the "richness" of the planet? and how do you compute richness

I would be interested in these numbers, too.

Usually I choose the race I trade with according to my diplomatic needs. I simply choose the star with the biggest population.

I trade with the closest and build trade centers along the way.

Does it matter if the planet being traded with is a home planet?
