Two bugs

from Stardock Forums
A: The homeworld/civilisation capital icons disappear after reloading and do not reappear.

B: Ships put on Auto-survey sometimes stop auto-surveying. Fixed by saving/reloading.

Has anyone else had these problems? Is there any way to fix them?

B: Yes, Auto-survey is not working very well. After a reload the ships ignore most of the anomalies ( not all of them, I could not find a schema yet :notsure: ) The only solution I foud is, I never reload unless the game crashed.

C: Another bug which is annoying is the calculation of the remaining research time. It uses the free research of the last month, not of the current month to calculate the remaining time. Thus you can never trust it.

Overall it is still the best game ever :D

Currently I'm getting used to GC2. I did not finish to form my opinion yet. Overall it is pretty nice and has some significant improvements. But on large/hughe maps I'm still very lost with the interface. On the main map you can't view all of the map at once and onthe mini map is much too small. This is much better on GC1. Though small/medium maps are pretty much fun in GC2 since version 1.1 did remove the social waste and changed the population growth. I hope that they expand the zoom out level in GC2 sometimes.

a: strange!! can you post your debug.err file so i can take a look for you. If i cant see it then we can move on to the next step for you :)
