Starbase Modules Range & other questions

Hi

Apologiese in advance if this has been answered, but i have searched the boards to no avail.

Question:
What is the range of the effectiveness of the modules i build on my starbase?. By this i mean, say one of the factory ones that give 10% to production. If it is anywhere in the same sector {and i am assuimg a sector is one of those blue squares the map is broken up into} does the bonus apply to all planets in the same sector?

Or do i have to build it right next to the planet to get those bonuses?

If i build one in 1 sector, right on the blue line, and the planet is on the other side, does it get the bonuses? Is there a way to see the range/area of effect?

All productive and trade boni work in the sector where the starbase is placed. (This is different in GC2 where the sectors are irrelevant and the distance is important (8 tiles, right?).)

Influence boni work in the sector and it's adjacent sectors (as fare I remember as fare as two sectors) and add to overall influence.

Mining boni are civilization boni, i.e. independent of the location of the starbase.
