The calculation is done in blocks depending on the time of the submission of each game.

The blocks are the following:
block 0: 0-30 days. no aging
block 1: 31-60 days. 5% aging
block 2: 61-90 days. 10% aging
block 3: 91-120 days. 15% aging
block 4: 121-150 days. 20% aging
block 5: 151-220 days. 25% aging
block 6: 220-290 days. 30% aging
block 7: 291 and more days. 35% aging

The calculation in each block is done with this formular:
block score = average block score * squareroot(# of games in this block)

This block score is reduced with the aging, e. g. the aging for the second block is 5%. Thus it is
block score * (100% - 5%) = block score * 0.95

At the end the eight block scores are added up to your final score.

Interesting. The person with the highest score may not necessarily be the best, but simply the person who insures they have at least one score in each of the time blocks. I don't know about the rest of you, but I play on gigantic and have a 40+ hour per week job. I'm lucky if I can finish one game a month.
