question - boosting up trade with starbases

I know that placing starbases on the trade routes is boosting trade revenue, but is it possible to profit from 2 starbases in the same sector equally ?

For example:

Starbase 1 is giving me + 55% trade income in this sector - if I will build second one ( Starbase 2 ) with same modules, also
giving +55% income, will I get a sum of values ( 110% ) or it will be still 55% ?

AFAIK it adds up. You and your trade route partner will benefit from the second starbase.
