was this all in the one night, macky ?

FELL IN LOVE - Adam, who I met at McDonald's, was 2 years older than my tender age of 16. He was SO cool, especially considering he owned a shiny, purple Holden Gemini (you Aussies will understand how horribly embarrassing this is!) We went out for about a year and a half until I broke up with him for no apparent reason. Another innocent boy broken. I still feel guilty about that one.

GOT DRUNK - I was almost 15. My brother worked for Toohey's and as such got a free case of beer every week. Our house was full to the brim of different kinds of beer - every cupboard and alcove had at least one case snuck in there. No one will probably remember this beer, but Toohey's released Blue Bock in about 1994/1995. I can't remember what market they were even going for now, but it must have been for people who didn't particularly like beer. It was terrible. As such this beer didn't move quickly from our house. When I was invited to my first proper party - one with out parents and where people would be, gasp!, smoking, I spent the week siphoning this beer from different parts of the house. I took three bottles altogther, and thought I was really wasted. Oh the innocence of the young!

DROVE A CAR - My brother took me for my first driving lesson when I was 15 in his red Ford Meteor. After doing three burn outs due to little understanding of the whole accelerator/clutch mechanism, he decreed that he would never teach me again.

HAD SEX - I was 18 and not having slept with my first boyfriend, thought it would be a great idea to lose my virginity to the next guy that came along. He was at least my boyfriend at the time, I suppose. It happened in my parent's bed *cringe*

GOT A JOB - Good old McDonald's employed me. They brain wash you so much that 8 years later I can still remember the six steps of service!

1/ fell in love ?

The first time i fell in love was when i was in grade 2... this amazing blonde girl... Kate Williamson or something like this... I remember seeing her and just beeing awestruck with her beauty!!! I thought it was love!! hehe... falling in love is a good feeling to have... I am experiencing it at the moment... love is so much better than lust, you fall in lust everyday, but when you fall in love, you really know.


2/ got drunk ?

Funnily enough, I dont really remember my first occasion of getting drunk... I remember the first time I got absolutely wasted though... I was 16 years old, and my sister had a house warming party... in hindsight, it was quite irresponsible of my sister and her friends, but they had me drink 14 shots of Vodka in the space of about 45 minutes... I was paraletic, and was unable to drink vodka for many years! My older sister had to drive me home that night, and I will never forget leaning out of the side of the car at regular intervals

3/ drove a car ?

It was my oldest sisters car... I had no idea what I was doing... we used to drive around the industrial complex down the road... eventually my confidence grew, and I became a very naughty boy - i would frequently take my mums car out if i knew she was gone for the night! this was about a year before I got my license! I rode my luck... several times i was petrified, because of pulling up next to cops or whatever... i was a bad widdle boy

4/ had sex ?

I was 16 years old... I had only met the girl the weekend before... this chick, well, she wanted me!!! My neighbor had his birthday party... we were fooling around there, and we just walked over to my place! My mum wasn't home, and i was already intoxicated... It was so much fun!!! I dont want to be to explicit, but i had heard all about rug munching, and i was keen to give it a try, I got into that before the sex, and it drove her wild... she had no idea she was a virgin! I was ever so proud of my efforts!

5/ got a job ?

I have always had jobs handed to me in my youth... working at the service station my brother in law worked at, then the McDonalds my sister worked at, so I dont really count those as uber acheivements, but when I got my current job, that was on my own merits, and it felt fantastic... I was working at a factory killing time while i waited for a good job, and I remember when I got the phone call telling me I had the job, i just walked up to my superviser, told him thanks for having me, and scooted out... I guess I haven't looked back since!

Depends....the first time I THOUGHT I was in love, I was about eight, and it was the boy next door. We spent lots of time together, we planned our wedding, the horse farm we were going to have, the Triple Crown winners we were going to raise , etc---we just took it for granted that we'd be together forever. The first time I ACTUALLY fell in love, I was 38....and it was beyond words.


2/ got drunk ?
I honestly don't remember a lot about it....it was my freshman year in college, and it was at a Friday night Beer Blast...there was lots of drinking, lots of dancing, and lots of silly giggling.....and a MAJOR headache the next day!!


3/ drove a car ?
My dad took me out to the fairgrounds after I got my learners permit, to teach me to drive his Ford Pinto (standard transmission, of course)....the only thing I clearly remember is not being able to make the turn, and crashing into a chain link fence--thankfully I was only going about 5MPH, so there was no real harm done!!


4/ had sex ?
My reaction was "So that's it? That's what all the fuss is about?" It was a HUGE letdown....fortunately, I did eventually discover what all the fuss is about!


5/ got a job ?
I was 17, and I spent the summer babysitting four yr old twin girls, at their father's house, complete with pool. We had a BLAST!

1/ fell in love ? I was 15 I dated a girl that was 3 years older than me, consequently she had me around her finger.  I also realized that pain comes in 2 flavors physical and emotional.

2/ got drunk ? Heh I still remember this as if it was yesterday.  I was 15 and I got drunk with a few friends and throughout that night I told everyone I loved them, told my life story to one of my buddies, told a table at a restaurant full of guys that I would beat them all up and ended up in my house 4 hours later not remembering how I got home.

3/ drove a car ? In school in a drivers ed class with a teacher.  It came natural to me so I really have no story here. 

4/ had sex ? The same girl I fell in love from my first answer.  It lifted my ego for a month as I recall.

5/ got a job ? Good old M'CD's  coming through and hiring me at 15 to work the drive through.  I remember how much I slacked off and the manager even game me what she called a suck award right when she fired me a few months later.  I showed her though I got a job right across the street where she could see me the very next week.

1/ fell in love ?
I had thought I had been in love before, but when I met my wife, that all got thrown out the window. I was at the dorms (what the Air Force calls it's barracks ), sitting down on the patio getting drunk with some fellow soldier types. Someone mentioned a new girl living in the dorms, so I head on up to her room to talk her into coming down and drinking with us. She came. She then proceeded to turn me down over the next couple months (some call it stalking, I call it love), until I convinced her that we should hook up. It was great!

2/ got drunk ?
As someone mentioned above, I remember the first time I got REALLY trashed! It was great... until I tried to sleep. It was at my first base, Brooks AFK in San Antonio. The whole dorm had a party, like they did most weekends, and I was meeting all sorts of new people. Nothing really special happened, except that I decided to never drink Screwdrivers again. When I finally "felt" my way to my room, I tried to go to sleep. I laid down, but the room kept spinning. I got up and realized that I needed to throw up. Well, the sink was next to me, the bathroom was about 10 feet away, even some grass was only about 15 feet away through my door... I figured the corner of the room would probably be the best place to throw up though... My room never lost the stink.

3/ drove a car ?
The first time I tried to drive a stick, my friend said, "just let go of the clutch, and hit the gas" So, I did. He forgot to mention I would have to change gears REALLY fast since I had peeled out rather badly by just 'releasing' the clutch and slamming the gas He didn't let me drive his car again.

4/ had sex ?
Bah!!! It sucked! I barely like the girl. I had barely a clue what to do, and of course it was over WAY too fast. Took a lot of practice to get it right

5/ got a job ?
I've always had a job, but my first would be walking around base housing with a lawnmower asking to mow people's yards. Then my friends and I would walk around asking to wash people's cars. The lazy brats in my neighborhood now never ask to wash my car

1/ fell in love ? I was in university, we were together for 2 years, it was on the whole intense, fun, innocent.

2/ got drunk ? I was 13 and split a mickey of vodka with some other neighbourhood kids down by the river. When I got home my mom and her future husband announced they were getting married. I don't know how they didn't notice I was drunk.

3/ drove a car ? My parents had a strict 'no fun' policy so they didn't let me near their station wagon with fake wood panelling and the bumper sticker that read 'This car stops at all garage sales'. I bought my first vehicle, a van, when attending university in Vancouver, and it felt vantastic.

4/ had sex ? Heheheh, the usual: young and awkward.

5/ got a job ? My first job was at a burger chain, A&W, shortly after I turned 14. I made french fries and onion rings, your basic fast food job. I was big for a kid, so they thought I was 18 and paid me $4.00/hr rather than the under 18 minimum of $3.15. I sure liked the paycheques, but remember taking the bus home after 8 hours of making onion rings and reeking so badly no one would sit near me. I soon found a better job that summer working outdoors.

we all laugh at the "McJob", but it seems to have served most of us very well in our "formative years". i adore onion and cook with it a lot, so i can sympathise about the smell. there is just NO getting rid of it. 1/ A little awkward. I thought all that stuff was mushy and was the downfall of many a good movie or story. But the chemicals that get released by your brain when it happens have quite a toxicating effect.

2/ Fun. Cheap drunk that time as the fuel was orange juice and white wine. But it's a nasty drug and as time goes on the doses needed to be stronger/greater to produce the same effect. Great idea to keep the exercise to special occasions.

3/ Frustrating. I passed the written test easily, read the books, and watched family and friends and thought "piece of cake!". Ofcourse, until your used to it, the accelerator pedal is a fickle device and it took a while to get used to how sensitive it was. But luckily my Dad was very sharp and spotted my difficulties and guided me through.

4/ Enspring. Was very keen on having a go but was never really too sure exactly how you were able to make arrangements for a person you like to have the same idea. Luckily, fate helped and on a 4 day long weekend a friend had his parents away and opened the house to one and all. Using it as a base, a couple of friends hit the clubs in town and somehow I managed to meet and have a dance with an angel. We agreed to meet up the next night (innocently ofcourse) and sealed the deal. She was a very kind person and will always be one of those who I'll never forget

5/ First real job was in a small shop in a large shopping centre. I was the only male amongst 4 females which most guys would love but it made me feel awkward. They did treat me well but their interest in my love-life seemed odd to me.

....I did....I told the kids I used to date him....so of course they took that information back to school with them.....

1/ fell in love ? REAL love? Awesome, i was totally comfortable and didnt have to tread lightly for fear of losign her.


2/ got drunk ? Odd. I was 15 and had WAY too much to drink. Damn near drank a case by myself. Of course the night ended with me vomitting alot and "passing out" on a wonderfully cool water bed in a basement that didnt allow sunlight in...double blessing!


3/ drove a car ? Fun, SLD6 and i took our friends car while he wasnt looking and went joyriding in an empty field.


4/ had sex ? Akward and embarrassing...yep, that about sums it up.


5/ got a job ? Pretty cool, but the job sucked...it was a fireworks place and i worked crummy hours.

2/ got drunk ? I'm so fucking innocent.... I had a glass of wine a couple times, that's it... never drunk; not even tipsy.

3/ drove a car ? When I was a young teen I'd drive my old Jeep down along a field near us. So I was decently experience when I drove with my DE teacher.


4/ had sex ? It will me on my wedding night. My first kiss was at midnight on the first of this year, which was pretty sweet. There were even fireworks in the distance.


5/ got a job ? It's all good. I still have it, actually. Working with horses, cleaning horses shit, feeding them, etc. I love horses and the guy I work for is a doctor, so the pay isn't too shabby, either.

1/ fell in love ? *sighs* remember it like it was yesterday.. It was the first time I saw her, and I knew instantly, she was "the one" and she was. And she still is... So you could say it felt wonderful, but yet Sort of scary, mainly because I was always the one to say, "I'm never getting married, I'm going to be with whoever I want, whenever I want, no questions asked." I was a cocky little bastard... but when I saw her, I never wanted to be with anyone else again


2/ got drunk ? heheh.. I don't remember much, except the next morning, lets just say, Shawn's head was in the toilet, most of the morning (I like to talk about myself in the third person)


3/ drove a car ? well, do you want to know the first time I legally drove a car or the first time I drove, period. well, the first time I drove was when I was 4 and I got in my dad's truck, just playing around and I started it, and my parents had to chase me down... I felt like a god..
