The odd plotline of my life....

Well I got a job offer today for working in a field I'm good at and enjoy... (webpage design and server hosting)... Only kick is that it's in Las Vegas... me being in Massachusetts makes that a bit of a haul for a job..

It's a garunteed.. and I even have a friend living out there and such.... would be a great thing for me.....

Though due to where I'm at, and all taht's been done for me by my friends here... I'm hesitant to accept it.

I've been here for only 2 months... but in that time they've paid for a lot of things for me... and I know they've done it out of their own good hearts... but I HATE having any type of debts with people that I can't easily pay back....

Such as now if I move... It's not going to be as easy to take them out to a club for the night to pay them back for when they did such for me.... Or just the other little things.... Just sending them cash when I can doesn't seem as personal or as much as a payback as it legitly should =(

*sigh* Been looking for a new job for a good while now and one finally opens up for me and I can't decide if I really want to take it...

I know you wasn't really asking for advice, but here I am the nosey old witch! Take the job, it sounds like a great opportunity, and it's what you need to do, you don't want to rely on your friends forever, and maybe getting out of that situation will help clear your head a whole lot more. Your friends have being good to you, no doubt about it, but they are your friends, that's what friends do, and what you would do if the situations were reversed, don't hold back your life just to repay them. you're friendship will be enough repayment and it will come over time. Change is scary but good my friend!
