I'd like to rename the "Arcaens" to something more creative. Any suggestions?

Typically it is bad form to have multiple main characters whose name starts with the same letter. I can understand the want of change.

well, you could name the bad red guys "the taiidani empire", the metallic ass yor collective "the bentusi" , the green big headed freaks "the guardians of khadesh", the pipe-nosed furry ones "the new taiidani republic", and the blue-tatooed-backstabbing a**holes "the turanic raiders". Name your home planet Khadesh and the uss hero to Khar-Selim and the first colony ship Khar-Toba. Then keep naming your connquered planets as follows : Soomtaw Glory, S'jet Cluster, Kaleel Path, Nebaan Pride, Hiigara, The Nomad Moon, ...and so on...but you'll be breaking every single Homeworld and Cataclysm license, but what a nice game that will be ! LOL
