Stardock central and double clicking the app in the software pane causes it to uninstall and not run

This is a real pain in the *** as it uninstalls, and if you're tired and don't read the message that comes up, you're downloading several hundred megs of game again. The default for double clicking an installed app should be run, not uninstall. Boy am I pissed. And I haven't received my CD yet, so it's a double pain.

Now you know. Don't double click. :) Being tired is hardly a good reason to blame Stardock.

Being tired is a perfectly good reason. What I was really trying to say (when I was tired) was that I expected it to run the game, not uninstall, and I would have expected that regardless of whether I was tired or not. The only thing that being tired did was make me click the yes on the dialog before I completely read it. Good UI design makes things the user wants to do easy, and the things they probably don't want to do more difficult. Double clicking to uninstall (regardless of the dialog box) is much too easy and will cost StarDock bandwidth (as users re-install) and user satisfaction (as users have to re-install). So, as you see, saving SD money is what I'm all about, here :)

And just to make it a bit sillier, after I complained here, what happens, but the mail delivers my CD the next day ;)
