How is metaverse score submitted?

When you finish a game (assuming you're connect to the 'net at the time), you'll get a submission dialog after the Summary screen and before you return to the main menu. It'll tell you your metaverse score, and ask for your e-mail and username for submission... or you can just click "no thanks" if you don't want to submit that score.

So if you're not connected to the 'net when you finish the game, your score is lost. This is not a Good Thing.

Yes. Two options:

1) Alt-tab out of the game when the summary screen is displayed, connect to the net, then alt-tab back to the game and continue to the submission screen. That should work, although I've never tried it personally, so I don't offer a money-back guarantee.

2) Save your game just prior to victory, then load it later when you ARE connected to the 'net, win the game, and submit your score.

Well im always on the net, and when I get the summary screen, when i click next/done it just exits the game.

I have a game saved at the very last turn before victory, i click next turn, movie plays, get summary screen, press Done, it exits the game. No submission screen, no going back to the menu. Hope this clears things up. What could i be doing wrong?

I have found it has a problem detecting internet if you have been connected for a long time.What has worked for me is to disconnect and reconnect to internet( i have dsl) and then load the save game, get the win, and then i have usually gotten the submission screen.

If that doesn't work, Then try re-registering on galciv froim stardock and reregistering on metaverse,then connect to internet and do a quick game and surrender to the 1st race you find and see if it brings up screen

No, it does not, after i click done it just exists the game. No errors or anything else

I've always had the same problem, and I was wondering....When I installed the game, I entered the wrong serial number. I only know this because what you enter is carried over as the default when you try to register the game on Stardock (which I then did correctly...I also registered on the metaverse correctly). Could the fact that I installed the game without the right serial code (damn those I's that look like 1's ) have nerfed my ability to submit scores?

I too can never get my scores into the Metaverse - I, however, do get the submission screen each time, but they mever show up (sob). Got an email in wid support, so...
