Multiplayer: Will this be moded?

Hey i know this is a single player game AND there is a Metaverse but would a multiplayer option be ever MODED? is it actually possible to do it?.
One of the faults with Birth of a federation was that the races were not balanced.

Everything I have read on these boards indicates the answer is "No, multi-player will not be added".

Uday, you can adjust each races intelect and polotics as you choose. And the game went through an extensive beta testing. Balance shouldn't be an issue.

Multiplayer is also sometimes used to hide bad singleplayer, offcourse not in every game this is the case.
But atleast this won't be a game where you miss multiplayer because the AI sucks.
