Difficulty downloading messages from news.stardock.com

I'm having difficulty getting any messages from stardock.games.galciv
I get a "the nntp server hasn't responded in the last 60 seconds" and then this message:
Outlook Express could not download the requested message. It is likely that the message was removed or expired from the server. Subject 'tech tree poster ( alpha stage )', Account: 'news.stardock.com', Server: 'news.stardock.com', Protocol: NNTP, Port: 119, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800C006F
How do I tell my newsreader to skip that message and get the other ones?
