Slipstreaming Galciv.....possible?!?

Is it possible to slipstream Galciv. What i mean: Is it possible to make your own installation cd which includes the updates? And not just includes the updates in seperate directories, but includes the updates (and bonuspack) in the game itself.

So if I would install Galciv from my newly created cd it would directly be 1.01 (or any later version) and thereby bypass any need for installing additional updates.

And I have not yet used Stardock Central, but if I download the game from there. Will it include the latest patches in that version of the game, or do I have to download and install them seperately.

I am just curious. I have not yet used stardock central to update my game because i don't want to play the game with the beta patches.

Update GalCiv via sdc, then use the download/archive thing. I think.

Would that work? Don't I have to download the 87 mb game files? And are these files always updated with the newest patches?

If you right-click on GalCiv and select Archive, you should have the option to archive the game at its current state (1.02.042 if you did it right now) or archive it with all extra files (multimedia, bonus pack, manual). Doing it this way shouldn't make it download again.
