Does tweaking the game affect Metaverse?

Hey guys, I got another one of those "noobish" questions here. I understand you can modify the game through some of the configuration files and all. Such as ships defense and all. I was wondering if Metaverse has some way of taking that into consideration when calculating scores? I mean, it would be too easy to score really high if I modify all my ships to be "invincible" and so on. Let me know guys, thanks!

The Metaverse looks at that stuff as you submit more then just your score to the metaverse. If you cheat like this your account will be removed from the metaverse.

Ok, good to know. I was hoping they had some way of looking into that, otherwise the fun of Metaverse and it's purpose would be totally biased and unfair. good to know. Thanks for the help!

But what's to keep someone who has gotten a really good score from just reloading the game shortly before their victory and winning again. And again. And again. How does the Metaverse know that this game has already been submitted?

Each game, at game start, has a unique identifier generated. That's how the Metaverse tells games apart.

For any given game you can only get one posted score although it is my understanding that if you post the same game multiple times it will take your highest submitted score for the game in question.
