Weird Cultural Victory percentage

This may be a bug, or I just may not understand the abbreviation. When I go to the menu screen, it shows the percentage toward victory of milatary, cultural, technology, etc. After a certain point, my cultural switchs to 12 mts and never changes. What does this mean?

That means in 12 turns/months IF you keep the same rate of influence increase you will win a Cultural Victory. That does not mean you will automatically win by waiting 12 turns. The AI will be increasing their influence too, you must keep up with them in order to win that type of victory.

It means that if you are not at war and maintain that 90% culture rating, you will win in 12 months. Offer peace to all your enemies and watch that 12 months begin to tick down to victory.

That means that if you are not at war with anyone, and maintain at least 90% cultural control of the galaxy, you will win in 12 months.
