What about a continuous galaxy?!?! Yes or No.

I have just read a post of someone saying:

"2 of the 5 major races got the short straw... stuck in corners isolated from the main mass of stars near the middle of the map. They've squatted on their homeplanets and been stuck there the entire game."

Would it be nice to have an option in the game to make the galaxy map continuous? If you go off the map from the left, you end up on the right. And if you move to the top of the map, you end up at the bottom. Would this be a nice idea to implement in the game?

Not very realistic IMHO.
I think the way it is opens more strategic options.
And, very soon, it will be a challenge between the top players.
and you will see threads like "I won against genius AI with only one star system stuck in the corner"

But what about an option in the 'game setup screen' to make your galaxy continuous or not?

I think it would be a lot of fun to try it out and it would open lots of strategic possibilities and problems.

Sure. As long as it is an option...
But, if I had to choose on what Stardock has to focus, it would definitely be at the bottom of my whishlist.
