Is it possible to start the game without the menu screen?

Is it possible to go directly to the main game screen (with the 'restore previous civilization' etc. options) without first seeing the popup thingy (with all the play game, galciv.com etc. options)?

If not.... can this be implementend, because 99,99 % of the time I do not want to do any of the things from the menu. If i want to visit galciv.com I open my browser and take it from there.

Just create a shortcut to the GalCiv.exe instead of the flash program the default shortcut points to.
