What happens if you remove the // before the industrialists and the Universalist? Will the game accept them back in?

Yes. Removing all of the "//"'s will let you use those parties.

I suspect that the two forward slashes denote comments in the text file...

They have no Political party colour.. anyone know a way to add those?

We're working on getting the Political Parties more MOD-able as we speak. They'll work better with the upcoming patch (added RBG coloring to the data type, scrollbars where necessary, ect).
