from the treatments
has a malignant ball of poison
standing sentential between her
hopes and dreams
she battles the reaper
taking prisoner with cytoxin
in a saline drip
often crying thru the pain but
triumphant over reason’s call to
medicate mediate take the pain
away
as tall as five foot is she
knows that once she gives in
she starts dying, so she lives
with the pain
and moves on demanding
reaper christ god or goat give
death on her terms
