Planet list scrolling is changed - but some of the change is for the worst.

The arrows for the planet list scrolling function are nice, but --

There is no longer a scroll bar with a tab we can grab and without the ability to scroll a "page" at a time. Scrolling
one planet at a time is too cumbersome. It also slows down game play.

On the Alpha 5 build this is still very difficult to work with (unchaged from Alpha 4). Also, I am posting this to prevent this thread from
rolling off the end of the message board.

What we really need is ... a spreadsheet.

Hooks into Excel wouldn't be that good because the game is at full screen instead of in a window. If the game was in a window, then having an Excel window would be good.

So, thinking back to the OS/2 days ... The spreadsheet needs to be sortable by multiple criteria. Ideally every column in the spreadsheet could be sorted on, and you could have three sorting keys (Planet class first, and then for all class 22 planets, by population etc.).

It would be nice if there were also a system spreadsheet that dealt with system parameters rather than planet parameters (how many ships are in the system etc.)

I'm finding it difficult to play in a large galaxy (not even huge or gigantic).
