OS/2 comparison and future plans

I just started a Galciv/2 Gold game...one thing one appreciate getting back to the windows Galciv is the graphics. Wow!

In the OS/2 version the ships had the following options besides pure movement: Autopilot, Sentry, Decommision, Pass, Go Home and Logs. I've never used the logs-option but found the rest useful. What's your plans for those functions for the windows game?

In the planet display the OS/2 had pollution as a factor...is that planned to be skipped or just relocated to other views or events? We've discussed govenors before so I wont take that here. In the OS/2 game one could micromanagement the resources, so one could make a poor planet do social stuff faster, and raise morale on a single planet and such. What's your plans about micromanagement. I belive that we've had this up to debate before, but I dont remember what you said :)

We have autopilot, sentry, decomission, pass but no go home. The new one also has a feature called "Guard" which is like sentry except it doesn't become active when someone comes by.

A BIG difference in ships between the OS/2 version and Windows version are levels.

Ships in the new one actually have experience points and go up a level when they reach a certain amount of experience. This in turn makes the ship more powerful.

So my level 3 defender has a 5 attack, 7 defense for instance instead of 2/3.
