Zoom Option On Main Screen

Does anyone know if there is a way to zoom in or out on the main screen. Ive seen the option on the mini map but not on the main screen....
Is it just me or do the units look really chunky?
I'd really like to zoom out a bit to see more of the map and slightly smaller units
Any Help Appreciated

Erm why would you want to zoom on the main screen? Everything is already quite huge. I would more prefer the option to zoom out.

A third player/customer that would be happy to have a zoom out feature on the main map window. Would be very nice!

Yep A zoom out option on the main screen would be great, the current setting makes everything look big and IMO cheesey.

In my view the lack of a zoom function on the main map (whatever the reason) is the only thing keeping GalCiv from being the best strategy game of all time. (:(

No Zoom feature, but try pressing F9 to change the main map to the tactical map.
