Where does the DL files go after installation?

Hi, I just downloaded and installed the core file. All is running fine. Where does the downloaded files go; I want to keep them, just in case....

Depends were you normally download to, try the "My downloaded files" directory,if you are an XP user. If not go back to the web site get the name of the file you have downloaded and search for it on your machine.

I used StarDock and I think it installed then deleted the install files. I noticed later that there is an option to Install and Archive. Just in case I have problems down the track I zipped up my installation, and then unzipped it some where else and it ran Ok. I've put it in a sfe place!
