Don't be afraid, my love.
Never have doubt in me.
I know time will numb the pain
Of not having you to see.

Can I have just one more kiss?
Can we make love to say "Farewell?"
I hope you understand
What's here is special.
Then again, I guess,
Only time will tell.

I wish that you were here with me.
I'd hold you close to me every night.
Something inside me has to bleed.
And my heart has already died.

I fell for you in the hardest way.
I believed every word that you said.
I can't believe that you crumbled me
Now thrown away,
Like a paper already read.

I trusted you more,
Than anyone before,
And you lied and spat on my heart.
Still, the farthest thing from my mind
Is giving up on you after I depart.

No one has ever touched me
In so many ways like you do.
I guess that you think,
I like the pain,
It's just that I can truly see you.

I want to tell myself,
I am better t han this.
But I think you're my soul mate, Babe.
Why is it only you I cannot resist?
After this, I'll never be the same.

Now that you've torn up my heart,
The wounds still needing to heal.
I lie here vulnerable,
Arms wide open to you.
You see this is when love is real.

I hope that we'll find
Each other again,
After a season's changing or two.
Then, maybe, you'll be ready for this
And will be able to accept
All the love lying inside me for you.
