Political Parties?

I happy to see political parties in the game but how's it implemented, will factors like aggression neighbour's,spend rates,events etc affect who gets voted in. :p

They are not yet implemented. Some of the panels are there, but it is too early in the development process
to see what they will do.

The goal of political parties is to give players the ability to have certain advantages/disacvantages to their civilization.

They give bonuses in a particular area (and negatives in others) when you have control of the senate. If you lose control of the senate, then you lose those bonuses. Hence keeping your people happy is very important in the game.
