Ok guys, to answer your questions:

Yes, Novocastrian stands for newcastle upon tyne. I'm half french half italian but live in the UK and also a big fan of NUFC, so I have to balance my passion for europe with my passion for the team. So here is the deal: I'll change the empire's name to European Alliance (or something else, we'll need a vote) once more people join.

Forget about the UN: our mission is precisely to create a bipolar system, s the rule of international lore obviously is not being respected.

Yes, thanks for the clarification. I never knew there were so many atheists in Israel. It must be an interesting place to live. I know that the only thing the US Press tells us is bombs go off there everyday, but I've heard that that's not exactly the truth. I've heard it's a very beautiful place. I think I'd actually like to visit there sometime.

Aaberg, yes we had some fun yesterday! :D I think every once in a while we need a little shakeup around here. Things were getting a little stale.

The Old Euros were stale, lying around for weeks without talking around here. This is the new Euros, and they are indeed more animated. But was the great Meta prank a bit too lively for their tastes? :)

The prank was beatiful...it help me thru that bastard of friday i just experienced :sniff!:

but here comes the good part...i left early today...couldn't focus on something as tediuos as work....the metaverse was on my mind...blew off the girl friend and started playing :D

suddenly my smile came back.... :CONGRAT:

just finished my first ever gigantic/maso....but counting the hours (8-9) the score isn't impressing...i'll have to try again tomorrow

It is preety interesting, yes. Bombs don't go off here everyday, and while it is disconcerting car accidents, cancer, air pollution and the rest take many more lives annualy then all the terrorist attacks.

About visiting here - I recommend it. Israel is not a place to live in, but it's certainly a nice place to visit. It's no real risk.

Things have shifted in the Metaverse, we've beaten the ANZAC's with a 441905 points, but the Jedi Republic overtook all of us except the Fellowship of the Ring.

But with all this Metaverse goophing around it is a matter of time before we can say this will be a permanent thing.

If you want some motivation to beat the farmers, keep in mind that most of the votes that elected Bush came from the Midwest.

I actually found that first prank pretty much fun LOL

But i seemed to have opened for a more serious wave of empire switching (which probably would have come anyway).

I was mostly sad that the Anzac's fell so far behind (:( (and that we beat them without a fight - no fun - no glory).

Yes Rainbird...I agree that the current rankings aren't much fun....to me the point is that either points should "age" faster or elseways a more colourfull way of scoring empires against each other should be invented

I, also.

However, it does show how vulnerable the metaverse is to the movement of any of the "top" players. Nevertheless, on the positive side, with only about 70000 points seperating the empires in places 2, 3 & 4, hopefully players with smaller scores will find their contributions much more important - and, IMHO, that has got to be good for the metaverse!

As an aside, if you could attract an unattached player from the front page (eg Matthew Downie who is a Brit!) you'd also be in the same score bracket.

Welcome back Freya!!!

On our website there is a section on what to do under the 'Want to join?' tab. Basicly it is registering at our boards, requesting private access and then introducing yourself in the 'bunker'. From there on just post your mind on all of the topics.
