What kind of feedback does Stardock want?

It's pretty obvious that we alpha testers should provide bug reports. Are you sure that you want bug reports posted here? There are lots of automation things that might not get put in before the beta is released -- should we bring up those things -- ways to save clicks, and allow one to focus on runing a galaxy. Then there are lots of things that have to do with diplomacy, espionage, etc. Should we talk about that (even though the Alpha is mostly military in nature)? How about things that have to do with drengin.net? Should all of these things be put here? Or are there different places for different types of posts?

Enquiring minds want to know.

One argument for posting errors here is that it could save lots of duplicate communication of them to stardock, providing
they are entered here with sufficient clarity in the subject title to be able to destinguish one bug/error from another and
providing that a whole bunch of different problems are not entered in the same post. One of the things we as testers should
try to do is to not overwhelm the developers with duplicate reports.

As to the other parts of your question, one thing I have been trying to avoid is commenting on features of Galciv that have
not yet been implemented. I would rather wait and see what Brad has in mind before hand. I am sure Brad has already developed
the basis for trade, diplomacy, espionage, etc. I also know that there are whole a lot less ships in this version as there
were in the OS/2 version, even freighters are missing. I suspect this is more due to the readiness of the artwork than in
the basic concepts of the game. I see a lot of this as "lets wait and see".

There is a news group for the DGN, which is where I have been posting DGM problems. Look at the left side of your DGM and
you will see a "groups" button. That brings up a list of focuses ("drengin", "stardock", "galciv", etc and the news groups
for them. You can even get to this message board from there.
