Fansite starting up for players and FREE space for mod designers!

We have recently started a GalCiv forum at CDG Website (Creative Design Group). These forums are specifically made for the mod makers, the content creator, and design teams. This is our focus and our goal is to server and satisfy them. As such we offer anyone working on a project that wants organized feedback and a central place to post their files a set of forums with subforums how ever you want. (managed by you or by us)

If you decide to get forums through us you can design them, moderate them, and control all content within them. As they are your forums. You can also have hidden forums for things like private betas or private developement. You can assign people to moderate your forums at your discression as well, although they have to follow the rules of the site and cannot abuse their power.

We can also offer a set of forums like described above but for all creations of that person or team. For example if you make a single category of any item, but they are exclusive of each other you can include all of your ships or anomolies and post them in there. Or if you have made three or four full game mods you can have them each have a subforum of their own in your forums.

We work with a structure similar to a chain of command. You guys and your moderators are the first level in that chain, if anything arises that you want or need assisance with you can go to the site's senior moderators and they will be happy to assist, if they don't have the ability they can guide you to someone who can help you further. Moderators cannot ban people on CDG, amoung other things. Staff moderators traverse all forums looking to keep trouble-makers at bay, and they report to the forum admin, each level has more control and power then the previous, it is a sort of checks and balances system, to try and prevent run amok moderators and other messy situations. It has worked quite well so far.
