GNN planet completions and GNN research completions combat for screen space.

When both a research project and at least one planet project are completed in the same turn the research completion gets lost and
does not get a chance to bring up the tech selection screen. This was reported on a previous build but the thread has rolled off the
bottom of the message board. This new thread is here to keep the problem on the message board. (I have my WinCustomize setting to
way over 10 but all I see here is 10 days.)

I'm working on that bug but so far my fix has only caused other problems, so I'm going to have to try and look at it from another angle or something. It is on my list of stuff that needs to be fixed, though

How about adding research compleion to the project completion window? The research window only pops up when you click on it in the project completion window? If you also add an icon to the status window (bottom right), this should work.

Well, I already have it fixed...the bug that was preventing me from waiting at the research screen was really stupid...

Bugs are only stupid in retrospect. Every bug I wrote I had good reason to believe I was writing good code. It was only once I discovered the
folly of what I had done that I got to kicking myself.
