Smart Exception - newbies get this

There's a new build of SmartException which generates a log file when GalCiv crashes. You can get it from this link:

www.stardock.com/temp/smartexception.exe

When Gal Civ crashes, Smart Exception will pop up and ask you if you want to submit information. Click the button that says Smart Exception, then click Open Log Directory. This will open up an explorer window with all the logs generated by Smart Exception. E-mail the GalCiv.EXE.CRA file to E-mail along with a description of what happened, and your autosave files. (AutoSave.sav and the AutoSave folder with all the files and subfolders within).

Should this file be put in the glaciv directory? Do I need to use any parameters when starting galciv to get it to use smartexception? Since the only people using galciv at this point are testers, shouldn't this be a part of the distribution set? Are you getting sick and tired of my questions?

Thanks! :)

Where you download it to doesn't seem to matter. I downloaded it to a directory I created called stardock. After downloading it
execute it and reboot. It takes care of the rest. Also, it works for Galciv, the DGM, other DGM games, and I think it even works
for other programs and applications. I also have SmartException report files for CIV3, talkback, and NAV.

Cheers,
Jack
