Can I rollback from .049?

I have severe CTD problems with the latest version. Can I roll it back to the previous version without completely reinstalling? My dial up connection makes it difficult to pull things down from stardock, especially the first update.

If the answer to this is no then how do I download the first update without it being 84 MB. I apologize for asking this again, but I read the previous threads and could never get the smaller version of the update to appear. It took me over 9 hours to download 84 MB.

Meanwhile I will install the crash and sniff or whatever it is called stuff and see if I can generate a reasonable bug report.

1) Where is it crashing? I.e. what are you doign at the time?

2) You can always go back to 1.0 which is the single "big" download.

3) Hopefully 1.03, it has a new MP3 player and I wonder if the problem your'e having isn't sound related. Try turning off music/sound and seeing if that helps.

Also, what sound card do you have?

If you right-click on the software selection, you can download & archive which leaves it as a zip file in SCD's program directory. Then you have it whenever you need it.

Omni, question: How often do you have the auto-save set up?

I have it set to autosave every turn since it is crashing so frequently. I just reinstalled from scratch and am updating from stardock as I type this.

Your reply to someone on another thread made me think that something I downloaded from the library may be causing the problem.

everything now runs fine After re-installing and upgrading to .049 again. I think it was one of the mods.
