A game I told you I would not play
Is being played and played again
The love I told you I would not give
Is being given, many times over
The nights I told you
I just couldn't give up
Are nights I only yearn
To spend with you
The life I promised not to let go of
Is the life I've set free
To have a life with you
The joy and happiness
I told myself I could not have
Is being felt over and over
Because of the man you are to me,
I love you, and thank you.
