Starting new games over and over again bug

I decided to go back to the main menu to try to see if I could get a decent "Earth" to start a game. On about my fifth or sixth try, a message flashed on the screen too quickly for me to read it, and I exited from GalCiv.

Yes, I know I was hunting for an edge, but don't we all?

Didnt the dibug.err give any clues at all?

Mickael,

Do you have SmartException installed? (See thread "Smart Exception - newbies get this".) It sounds like you should have gotten a report if SmartException was
installed and working correctly.
