When is Galactic Hijacker and Elemental coming out?, and would it be cheaper to buy them separately or buy the year of Stardock games?, i might do that if even more games would be coming out during that time also.

hope to hear soon

OMG

Brad if you make MoM2, I will by the lifetime subscription to SD. If you don't have a lifetime subscription you'll have to make one up for me.

I'm serious.

Who makes MOM2 is up to infogrames.

Elemental is very similar to MOM though or what a MOM2 might be.

"this game that could be described as a bit like Master of Magic meets Magic the Gathering."

MoM already had some very MtG aspects? Seems a bit like search engine bait to me. ;)

Is there an actual website for the game yet? Or is that page on Drengin.net the limit of the info available?
As I said when you mentioned this before, Brad, I'm more than willing to alpha/beta/gamma/whatever test a game like that. ;)

We'll have a screenshot of a pre-alpha of Elemental soon. Elemental spells are much more MtG than MOM but the world itself is MOMsh.

when will Galactic Hijacker and Elemental be available to bata-test, i would love to help tet them for you, i was a major Paradroid fan on the C64, and a MoM fan on my first PC :D, even tho both are pre-alpha, what time would you predict they would be available for sale?,

P.S. any chance you could make stardock versions of my two other classic faverotes 'Moonstone' for the Amega, and Millenia:- Altered destinies with the millenia one you could use the races from galciv, and use the game to really flesh out the races...hehehe jus a thought ;)

I don't have any times available right now. We need to hire more developers and artists really. Right now we're stretched thin enough working on the prepooduction of those games and getting The Political Machine going not to mention our considerable development commitment to GalCiv over the next several months.

Well taken mate, just continue what you do.

If anyone knows of developers who know DirectX already and are willing to work in Michigan, feel free to send us your resume. We are hiring. ;)

We need people who know C++ and have good familiarity with DirectX, using Visual Studio and are just generally technically proficient.

It's OK. I found your address. Livonia. Only 1/2 hour away from A2. hmm...

Ok, i'm really curious to see how you can make it more MtGish that MoM was, given that in MoM just about every single spell and most of the creatures were lifted off of MtG cards :)

LOL, considering they both came out about the same time, I don't think MoM was copied from MtG. MtG would have been almost unheard of at the time.

Master of Magic is 1994, right? Magic: The Gathering is 1993.

That said, I can't say whether the former draws on the latter, as I never played the former.

You're right, I just looked it up on E2. I thought MoM was released in 1990 as opposed to 1994.
