What's the best planet class you've found?

I found a class 26 planet. Has anyone found anything like this or better?

26 should be the most that you'll find other than through a random event.

Yep, after such a random event (class +14, 2 sectors range), the Torians had about 8 or so class 31 (thirty-one) planets. Frickin' insane, they had only three systems and dominated a medium size galaxy in about 5 years. BTW, is it a coincidence that the image of those planets resemble the "Gaia" class from Ascendancy so much? ;)

Actually, I did manage to find and colonize a class 30 planet in the first 5 or so turns of playing and later, brought it up to 32 with improvements. I don't remember any event effecting it either. I was playing on a medium sixed galaxy with the "occasional" planet class. In another game one of the computers had a class 40 planet through an event! Talk about being in heaven, lucky people..err lucky aliens ;)

I found a 26, the random event that came with the planet, when selecting the evil route increased planet quality by 41%. The final result, a whopping 37!

In my current game, the Yor are buried in a corner of the (small) galaxy with only two or three planets -- none exceptional. An event occured (discovering Precursor tech or somesuch) making one of their planets base 35. With their existing improvements, it became class 42 immediately. Now I'm worried that they're going to begin to dominate, so I'm trying to decide how to prepare...

I found 2 class 26 planets in my game and colonized both. I built a Hyperion manufacturing center on one and with the other manufacturing improvements it gets about 25 production points a turn. It can churn out battleships likes there's no tomorrow! :D
