Military Maintenance (suggestion)

I was playing a game this morning, and I one point I set the military slider to 0%, but my military spending was still listed as 4bc. I couldn't figure this out, assumed it was a bug, and continued playing. Later, after building a dozen Corvettes, several Starbases, etc., I noticed that my military spending was astronomical. I gathered that ship (and starbase) monthly maintenance was grouped with spending.
I thought that ship maintenance would be part of the "Maintenance" entry on your economic screen. As a suggestion, could the "Mainenance" entry be renamed "Planet (or social) Mainenance" and a new entry for "Ship Maintenance" be added. It would be easier to figure out just how much I owe due to ships and bases (since the info on them doesn't mention upkeep... another suggestion), rather than setting military spending to 0% to see what's left.
