What's with SD transfer rates? (rant)

Why am I getting transfer rates on the Stardock client of 100 bytes per second? I've shut down and restarted the application a couple of times but to no avail. I seem to get data in short bursts from the server.

I don't expect an answer here; I'm just venting. Just like my post bemoaning the fact that I can't join an empire and the email I sent regarding this, I expect this to be completely ignored.

While I'm at it, why can't there be anyone qualified to offer even rudimentary tech support on IRC at a time when normal people are getting home from work on the West coast?

Other people here have raved about the tech support. I've yet to see evidence that any is even offered.

If you say such things it probably would. Have you registered your alias and email address in the metaverse? That is the firsr step to be able to join an empire. Perhaps first re-register, that works sometimes.
