My opinion, questions, comments, and suggestions.

I've been lurking around here for awhile now, since about a month before the game came out. All of you guys got me so siked about the game that I ran out and reserved it. So i got it, and i meant to post about my feelings earlier, but of course I've been addicted to the game.

This is definitely the best turn-based strategy game I have ever played. One thing I especially adore is that when you go to war, the other side makes attempts to attack you. And when you ask one of your allies to help you in a war, they not only agree, they actually send units to attack. In other turn-based strategy games I have played (ie civ 1, 2, 3) your allies will agree to help, but never actually do anything. In civ 2 its rare to ever actually see an enemy tank on the map.

This is truly a great game, but I still have my suggestions. Now sierously, whos idea was it to make the ranger actually invisible. It could have been reprsented by an outline or something. Everytime I want to move it I have to find it on my unit list.

Secondly, I think the ability to pick a resolution for the United Planets to vote on maybe once every five years would be great. That way if I run a trading empire I can try to get more trade routes instead of voting on a galactic zoo every few years.

Anyway, enough of my whining. I love this game and I definitely have to give SUPER HUGE KUDOS to whomever named these planets. Bilbo, Noldor, Gandalf, Sauron, and many more I can't remember but I know are in there. Thanks for all the props to LOTR.

Lastly, how on earth do I get my playlist to play?

And I completely forgot. This is also the first computer game I have played THAT HAS NOT CRASHED. I now think of the good people at Strategy First the same way the Torians think of me diplomatically, your practically gods.
