If I knew how to write something myself that only inexes remote pages from an URL-list and not downloads them I'd prefer that, but this is the best I could do easy.

I'll leave it there until Brad or someone slaps me with a lawbook and tells me to take it away :)

The only thing I need to search for is more info on GalCiv. Where is the stuff for people who have just signed up. Even if we connot play we should be able to contribute to game play. And YES I would like to be considered for testing whenever that becomes available. Until then I can only express my ideas of what could be in the game. 1). Ability to design ships with tradeoffs between features. I like the idea of shipp getting exp as well as the player. 2). Single player mode as well as multiplayer mode. 3). Ability to join a team in MP mode. Also ability to be a merc/pirate/whatever going solo vs everybody. 4).Having a base where you are relitivly safe. (Excuse me if I drift into Frontier, I just downloaded the guide so am not yet real familiar with that vs GalCig info. Will keep looking thru the sites. GreyWolf :)

AFAIK there isn't going to be any MP mode other than the meta-server which is to my understanding a complex scoring/ranking system.

hehe no problem.

btw...I havent updtated the search-index since I installed it, so there is no newer data than from april 22.

Im about to test another search-index, but the old data is avail as before until I replace it or choose to go for the current one. Then Ill do an update and schedule future updates.

Ive updated the searchindex at http://home.jacobsson.nu/gcforum/ now and seen to it that it updates automaticly once/day from today.
