Scrolling through planets - star's planet list out of step.

As I was looking for a planet for which I had forgotten to start a social project I noticed that the
list for the planets in a star system was displaying the list for the previous star, not the current one.
This is very strange, because I don't know just where it got out of step. I will look again and see if
I can spot it.

This is on a gigantic map with all the habitable planets colonized (so there are a bunch).

Would anyone at stardock wish a copy of the saved game? I can't take screen shots (Windows ME).

Cheers,
Jack

There is more to this than meets the eye. It takes a specific path to the planet list to get this behaviour. You have
to start with the planet list, click a planet (I clicked "Earth"), then start clicking the right or left arrow point near the
bottom of the planet view. Selecting a star ("Sol"), then a planet ("Earth"), and then scrolling through planet views
works fine.

Jack, why can't you take screenshots on ME?

Cari,
I don't know. I have tried the print-screen and alt-prtscr tricks but nothing happens. I
think MS forgot to include it. Noone has been able to point me at anything that will turn
it on.

hmm...I don't remember not being able to take screenshots in ME when I had it on my laptop. In fact, I'm absolutely sure that I did take screenshots from my laptop, even though I had to paste them in MS Paint...in fact, I just went and found someone in the office who is running ME and had her take a screenshot. You might want to check your BIOS settings to make sure that it didn't get turned off...if not that, maybe your key is broken or you have num lock on or something...

You do know that you have to go into a paint program and paste the image, right?

Cari,
Alas, I don't have MSPaint. Is that the secret? How do I get at the bios?

Also, have you tried recreating this problem like I described?

I guess I do have MSPaint after all. But I still don't have the ability to capture screen shots.
