Documentation

Well, the game looks Ok, but it's hard to judge so far. It has, in my opinion, possibly the worst documentation I've ever seen for a game. In the ship list, there is a blue arrow to the right of the ship name pointing up and to the right? What does that do? Why does the "find" button skip by ships which have movement left? How does one launch a ship if "auto launch" is off? I find the interface to often be rather unintuitive.

It makes that ship go to the current sector, as displayed in the upper right hand corner of the starmap.

The Find button is only meant to find ships with moves left that are not on sentry or guard, so that you can cycle through your ships with moves left.

In the system list, which you can bring up by left clicking on a star, double click on ships in orbit to launch them. If it's a colony ship or a transport, it will bring up a troop loading dialog. There is also a launch button next to the orbit slots.

Thank you for your help. As for the "Find" button, I have no ships on sentry or guard, but the Find button consistently fails to find my survey ship. I am guessing that ships which have been given a route (are on auto pilot to a destination) move at the beginning of a turn, after the "turn" button has been pressed, rather than moving as the last part of the turn. In other words, if I am finishing turn N, and I click the "turn" button, the turn finishes, and then the shlps move for turn N+1. Therefore, the question "does the find button locate ships on autopilot which still have movement left?" makes no sense.
